I remember the first time I saw a VMware environment. At the age of 20, I was naive to think that this technology would be going away like all the greats Novell, Dial-Up modems, and the folding maps. The concept that you could place a server, within a server, then build three more servers in that one server was unrealistic to me. it was the stuff of wizards and unicorns.
But when I dug deeper into VMware and virtualization it was clear what i wanted to have a career in. Could it be possible to have a technology that is so monstrous that it would possibly take me the rest of my life to learn?
Learning VMware for about 5 years now I recently receive my VCP-DCV6. Much to my satisfaction I gained a lot of knowledge and love the constant challenge of virtualization and the growing technology that we all love.
My grammar might not be 100%, and my solution might not be the fastest but as I learn, I hope you will too. I truly look forward to expanding my knowledge and when I do I will post it here.
